Licensed in mid-2020, Brandon Currin knows first hand what it is like going into this hobby with no influence outside of internet searches to learn more. It wasn't until an amateur operator reached out to him after getting news that a new operator was around. Through the excellent mentorship from KN4ADM (Reggie Hodges), Brandon found himself involved far more than he expected in such a short period of time and met several great people along the way he considers now to be great friends. Because of his Mentor "Elmer" Reggie and several others who have helped him along the way, Brandon felt led to build the foundation of ALPHA RADIO CLUB in hopes to bring more like-minded operators together to continue building the Amateur Radio Comunity.

Chris Weiss has been operating since 2018. We like to call Chris our Digital / Satelite Guru. If you are into Digital modes or talking to satellites, Chris has you covered. Not only does Chris have a passion for the above but he is also a great mentor. Willing to help at any time, be it setting up programs to helping find that pesky RFI in the shack, Chris is always willing to lend a helping hand. Yet another amazing asset to ALPHA RADIO CLUB.

Matt Dunn received his license in 2017. As a Radiology teacher, we all know he is a smart guy. He is the type of operator that always has a project going on. Influenced by his Brother to get into radio, Matt has taken the ball and ran with it. If you are in an area that is difficult to operate due to HOA restrictions and the like. Matt is your guy. ALPHA RADIO CLUB looks forward to the future with Matt being involved.

Chris Smith is the most recent licensed operator of the ALPHA RADIO CLUB Board. Having received his ticket in Dec 2020, Chris has jumped in feet first into the hobby. Eager to learn and eager to help, Chris is a great example of a "New to the Hobby" operator. As a Director, Chris will bring to the table the thoughts and mind of a newly licensed amateur. With a contagious positive attitude and a go for it spirit. Chris is an amazing asset to the Club. Sometimes it can be intimidating joining a club as a new operator. Chris is here to help welcome you in and be a voice for the new operator on the Board.
